4-H Projects

A 4-H project is an area of investigation members can sign up for yearly. Projects can be something the member already likes to do or something they would like to learn more about. Projects are based on individual interests and there are a wide variety to choose from! Members receive reference project literature and, with adult and youth leader guidance, work throughout the year on different project activities. Finally, members can exhibit items at county fair, which show what they did or learned in the project.

Sample project areas include: animal sciences; mechanical science; photography; family, home & health; leadership; communication & arts; plant & soil science; exploring; and self determined.
