LWC Class XVII Graduation will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2017

The graduation of Leadership Waupaca County (LWC) Class XVII is fast approaching.  This 9-month community leadership program began back in late August.  Since then, participants have learned much about what it takes to be a community leader, the workings of local, county and state government as well as worked on a community project based on community issues in Waupaca County.  These projects will be the center-piece for this year’s graduation celebration and include broadband expansion, support for young professionals, access to drug treatment options, and instilling the value of volunteerism in our youth.

The best way to experience first-hand the effort and care that go into developing community leaders in Waupaca County is to attend the graduation ceremony. This year, the program will be held at the Manawa Masonic Center on May 11, 2017 at 5:00 pm. The evening will include a dinner, participant presentations and the graduation ceremony.  We have two ways for you to make your reservations for this event – mail in or online (http://bit.ly/2n7Vh3E). The cost is $20/person and includes dinner.
